LOEWE has partnered with Kyoto-based ceramic duo Suna Fujita, with the husband and wife team creating a series of original illustrations and ceramics for LOEWE’s holiday collection.
Working with the team at Stink Studios, we helped launch the collection by bringing Suna Fujita's characters to life; transforming the artists' miniature worlds of fantasy, memory and nature into a series of finely-crafted animations online.
One of the ways this took shape, was by animating a custom LOEWE logo, with a delightful surprise on the O.
LOEWE's official website would also feature short animations, inspired by the magical worlds in the collection, elevating the collaboration with a sense of wonder and emotional connection to the artworks.

Below: Finial outcomes.
The approach was mostly 2D frame by frame animation, with a little help from After Effects.
All works featured are result of a labour of love by the team at Stink and myself, with help from Paul Cheshire for the animations that take place in the deep sea.
